"The company's music publishing division signed an agreement in September to let the ad-supported SpiralFrog Web site use EMI's catalog of music for its download service in the U.S.
SpiralFrog, based in New York, lets users of its ``no- cost'' service legally download music, EMI said. SpiralFrog said in August Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group would offer its songs for free to North American customers on SpiralFrog."
